Looking for parents and relatives of John Barclay (Barkley), b. Feb. 9, 1808 in Cumberland or Franklin Co., PA; m. Eleanor McCracken 1834 in Franklin Co., PA; lived in PA, OH, and IA.
John's sister Frances (Fanny) b, 1815 m. William Lessig Sep. 10, 1840. Fanny and William's daughter Ellen, b. 1846, m. B. F. Culbertson. Ellen and B. F.'s son William Culbertson, b. 1869.
There may also be another brother -- James, b. 1819, m. Mrs. Priscilla George (b. 1819) Nov. 12, 1851. They raised Hattis George, b. 1842, and William Barclay (Barkley), b. 1849.
The William Lessig and James Barclay (Barkley) families lived in Auburn, DeKalb Co., IN from 1850 on.
