Philadelphia Barclays - 1797 - 1870

I am seeking information on one John R. Barclay of Philadelpia. He was born in 1797, and married a Jane Myers of Lewiston, Delaware. He is listed on every census until 1840 as living on Second Street, near South Street in Philadelphia. He is a shoemaker. After 1840, he appears on the Censuses in Trenton, NJ, where he raised his children. After his wife, Jane, dies in Philadelphia in 1867, this John R. Barclay apparently moves back to Philadelphia with his son, Andrew Jackson Barclay, and lives in West Phildelphia. I have no record of his death.
