Any idea if John Barclay had a brother Peter?? I have been going through the Kilbirnie Census and am interested in information on Peter's daughter Catherine who married Robert Speirs on 23 Oct 1846 in Kilbirnie. Since Catherine lived with her parents in both the 1841 and 1851 census, I know that her mother was Jane orJoan and her father Peter died sometime between 1841 and 1851.
Catherine Barclay Speirs had a daughter Jean (1847) and a son Robert (1850)... and possibly another son James.

I am actually a SPEIRS descendent and would be interested in information related to Catherine in order to add this branch to my family tree.
