I don't know much about Sen Barclay from Ala, except that there was a letter from a woman in my father's files that was written about 30 years ago in reply to one written by Nell Barclay about 50 years ago. She referred to him and his sons. Said she did Barclay research 35 years and had never been able to determine who his parents were. Said various records, such as obit, etc., did not say. Said one son was a lawyer and one a merchant as best I recall. I think I sent te letter to Barclay Bastion, since it was almost an antique it's self. For kicks I answered the letter about two years ago to the return address on it. It did not come back, and no one answered it. This is not much, sorry.
