Hi Tim. When was the David Barclay you are searching for born? Who were his parents? Who were his siblings? I am searching for David Barclay, son of Robert and Leah Barkley of Rowan Co NC, brother of my ancestor Walter b. 1776, Robert, Samuel, John, and others. David is the only sibling not accounted for. We do not even know who he married. After Robert and Leah's death, most of the children went to Madison Co Kent. John's son David's descendants are still there. Samuel's maybe son David went to Texas. Walter's son David went to the Falls Co area of Texas after Tyler Co, where his siblings all settled. Think Robert also had a David son in MO., see Barclay Bastion for lots of information on this branch of Barclays. All were Barkleys. Some changed the spelling to Barclay, some did not. Best wishes for your search. If you run across our David while searching for your David, please let me know. Thanks.
