I'm looking for info on my gggrandfather Samuel Barclay. He was born Samuel Bartley on 6/10/1843 in Ross Co. Ohio. They changed the spelling of their name to Barclay in 1849. His parents were James and Mary Bartley, and I know of only one brother, Albert. He was in the Civil War in the 12th Reg. Ohio Cavalry. He married 1)Sarah J. Lytle and had two daughters, Althea Barclay and my ggrandmother Amanda Elizabeth Barclay. He married 2)Abbie Goldsberry and had one daughter Blanche Barclay.

Amanda E. Barclay married Joseph Samuel Tate and settled in Oklahoma.
