If they followed the scottish naming convention ... his fathers name may of been John WANDS and her fathers name may of been James BARCLAY, first son named after the paternal grandfather, second son named after the matereral grandfather, & usually the first daughter was named after the maternal grandmother so it is possible that Margaret could also be her mothers name.
