I've been reading your Barclay postings with great interest. My husband is descended from Robert Barclay of Rowan County, NC through his son Robert, who went to Kentucky with Walter, who appears to be your ancester. Our line were pioneers to Oregon in 1850.

I was very interested in the fact that you named Leah, wife of Robert Barkly of Rowan County as "Leah Madison." I have never had a last name for her. Can you tell me where you found her name?

I am also one of those who hopes for the name of Margaret Kerr Barclay's Barclay spouse but have no information on that idea.
