I am following this family because it is possible that Wm is my great- great grandfather,Buck A. Barbour, of Pigg River Pittsylvania county, VA, who has a birth year of abt 1860. The only other information I have for him is that he was divorced as of the 1900 census. The sons names are Lenard R.(my great grandfather) and Roy L.
Buck owned the farm he lived on at the time of the census, but we can find no records of purchase (inherited?). I have him only on the one census and listed on Lenard's death certificate along with Lenard's mother, Mary Whitlock. I have no other records on Mary Whitlock, either. I have found members of the family in the above census living near Buck, but no actual connection.
I am posting this family census hoping someone recognizes their family and can give me some information.
Thanks
