Colin,

I am also researching Barbour's that have history in Kirkenbrightshire or Kirkenbright Parish in Scotland. My great grandfather David Barbour was born there in 1861. Unfortunately my history does not yet go back as far as yours, but maybe you can help me fill in some blanks. My g-grandfather; David Barbour born in 1861, his father's name was also David and mother was Margaret Thompson. Unfornately the father never got to see his son as he died before my g-grandfathers birth. I was hoping that maybe you had information on Mary's siblings, if she had any that my tie to this connection. I have Scottish copies of my g-grandfathers birth, therefore I'm sure of the parentage, but have not been able to go back further. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Annita Darlene (Barbour) Harrison
