Barbours of Miller County, Missouri
I am Fenton Barbour daughter also looking for more information on the Miller County Barbour. Bruce Andrew Barbour b. Dec 1896 Missouri d. 17 Nov 1944 in Kern Ca. in fire at his service station. There were 12 children born to John Beverly & Effie Carpenter Barbour: Goldie, Bernice, Cordell, Bruce, Wayne, Lennie, Lem, Charlie, Henry Coil, Elsie, Elva & John Fenton. I do have more information on some of them but the ones that moved to California I know very little about and would like more information on all of them as Dad was youngest and never got much out of him. Christphor & Albertine Barbour, parents of John Beverly are buried in Freedom Cemetery at Versailles Mo. John & Effie , Lennie, Lem, Charlie are buried at Eldon Cemetery, Wayne Menton,Mo., Goldie Elsie & Elva buried at Barnett, Mo. Cordell, Bruce and Coil in California.
