Is anyone else researching the family of James Barbour and Jane McLaggan (or McLagan)? Children on the 1881 census were: William, Margaret, Elizabeth, Alexander, and John. James' father was named William, and Jane was the daughter of Alexander McLagan and Margaret Wilson. Alexander McLagan was the brother of my g-g-grandfather, Peter Taylor McLagan.
