My mother-in-law's great-grandfather was William C. Barbour of Pittsvlyania County, Pigg River District. He was son of William and Mary A. and was born 1845. He married Frances E. Parker, also of Pittsylvania County, 9/7/1865. They had 12 children. Unfortunately, I don't have anything any further back than that, so don't know if this will help you. If it does and you can connect to yours, please let me know - I will be happy to share info privately.
