George Barber-Margaret Watkins DNA

If you are a male descendant of George Barber and his wife Margaret Watkins of Oglethorpe County, GA, with the last name of Barber, please consider participating in the Barber DNA project at http://www.familytreedna.com/public/barber/

George was born on Craig's Creek, Augusta County, Virginia about 1743, later moved to Johnston County North Carolina with his wife, Margaret Watkins, his mother Elizabeth and step-father Matthew Patton and his brother Plyer Barber.
George moved to Wilkes County Georgia shortly before the American Revolution, where he served as a Lt. and Captain.

I have found one person who MIGHT participate from the family of Plyer Barber, George's brother, and it would be great to have one person from George's line, to prove their line back to their parents, George and Elizabeth Barber of Craig's Creek, Augusta County, Virginia.

And this is probably just dreaming on my part, but maybe we can prove that my James Barber was also a descendant of George and Elizabeth Barber. I have found one willing participant for my line also.

Thanks,

David W Morgan
