Anyone Researching Col Wm Barber, Clinton Twp, Dutches Co?

Is anyone researching the Col William Barber, enumerated in the 1790 census for Clinton Twp, Dutchess Co, NY? This census shows that he had 2 males over 16. I have a William Barber, whom I am wondering could be the good Col's son. My william Marries Abigail Dean March 1, 1792 at The First Dutch Reformed Church of Poughkeepsie, so they two William Barber's have their given names & Dutchess Co in common. Otherwise I have no data on my man before his marriage to go on.
