Excuse me, Carol, I thought I had answered this, and thanked you. Something got messed up, so thank you very much. The "Barber" theories are many and varied. I'm currently favoring the Moses Barber bunch in Rhode Island as the forebear of our Moses In early Baker County. No proof, but the family relationships are compelling, the ones that are developing in my collection of data.
Many favor Luke Barber, and others your George Barber. I think we WILL eventually figure it out, with time and patience.
