Just a heads up: I've started an enormous project to include ALL of us, every dang one. I got the idea from the groups studying my French Canadian Boudreau family. As is true of us in Florida, many if not most families are interconnected in old Acadia, one way or the other. That system makes it (in theory) easier to find our kin, and each other for that matter. As I have just begun, it's still quite a mess, and there are many of you who know far more than I do. Let's give it a try anyway. Fair warning, at this stage it's VERY rough, and I have taken my sources from all over the net. Some of it is bound to prove flawed, to one degree or another, but you have to start somewhere. I'll start with just a basic surname list, by no means all-inclusive: ALBRITTON ALEXANDER ALLEN ALVAREZ APPLEWHAITE BARBER BAUCOM BENNETT BLOUNT BOWLES BRASWELL BRONSON BUSBEE CANADY CANTEY CARTER CASON COLLINS CONE COVINGTON CREWS CURLEE DANIEL DAVIS DENMARK DOBBS DOWDY DOWLING DRIGGERS EDWARDS GANN GANN/GNANN GARRETT GIDEON GOLDSTON GORDON GRIFFIN/GRIFFITH HARVEY HINSON HODGE/HODGES HOLLADAY HULL JOHNS JOHNSON JONES KERSEY KILPATRICK LAMB LANGDON LANIER LASTINGER LEE/LEIGH MANN MARRIOTT MARTIN MIXON MIZELL MONK MOODY MOORE NETTLES OLDYS OSTEEN/AUSTINE OVERSTREET PADGETT PARISH PATTON PRIEST RAULERSON REED REYNOLDS RICHARDSON RICHBOURG ROGERS ROWLAND SCOTT SMART STRATTON STRICKLAND SYLVESTER TAYLOR THOMAS THOMPSON THRIFT TOMLINSON TOOKE TYNER WAINWRIGHT WALDRON WATKINS WELLS WESLEY/WESTLEY WEST WHITE WILLIAMS YATES YOUNG For example, my four paternal great-grandparents - Barber, Stratton, Thomas, and Bronson, are well represented here, as well as many others with which I have no obvious kinship. I hope we do well with this. Notify Administrator about this message?
