Bobby, according to my information, John had five sons, William, Pleasant, Sampson, Elijah, and Joseph. According to the 1850 Carroll County, Georgia census, Sampson was age 50, born in Georgia and married to Mary Unknown. William is my wife's gggrandfather, so I have extensive information on him. He married and migrated west, settling in Texas. I have limited info about the others. I was unaware of any murder allegations and do not know to whom he was married. What else do you have?
