Hi Perry,
Seeking proof of parent's names and birth date of Mary HARWOOD, possibly between 1682 and 1690, possibly daughter of James and Lydia HARWOOD in probably Massachusetts [MA].She was employed by John BARBER or BARBOR as a 'servant' who lived in Concord [probably Littleton] Middlesex Couty, MA. Friends of Mary were Ebenezer ROBBINS b. ca 1862 and Margaret BARRETT, b. ca 1683, but I do not know whether or not they were also employed as 'servants' my John BARBER.
Trying to prove generations from earliest to latest:
1) Andrew HARWOOD
2) Nicholas HARWOOD
3) James HARWOOD, Sr.
4) James HARWOOD, Jr. m. Lydia in 1726 tried tomove from Littleton, MA, to Chelmsford, MA, where they were 'warned out'.He did land deals at Littleton, MA with Isaac POWERS and Samuel BRRETT (see 3 children listed below 5)
4) John HARWOOD m. Mary POWERS, moved from Littleton, MA to Hardwick, MA no later than 1735 and then to Greenwich, MA.
5) Andrew HARWOOD, Jr.
5) Mary HARWOOD m. Thomas POWERS [possibly my ancestors]
5) Eunice [Unice] HARWOOD.
Some of this data came from "A Genealogical History of the Harwood Families, Descended from Andrew Harwood..." by Watson H. Harwood, M.D., published 1911.
THANKS :) in advance for the lookup,
Jan
