No, I'm not a Mizell, I found some stuff on a Mizell forum this site. Wish I could give you the e-address, but they don't seem to work properly. I found it on the page "Descendants of Luke Mizell, 1614-1673, Generation no. 1" this site. The stuff about "the brothers" I found on the LDS site, re: a book called "A brief history of the Barber family", Charles Barber b. 1826. Again, wish I could tell you how to find it, but having tried to post the e-addresses, or go to other's e-addresses, just no luck. Wonder if others are having the same problem. Anyway, verbatim: "Three brothers named Barber immigrated from England to New England about 1650, and one of them settled in Rhode Island. Joseph Barber (b. 1744), a direct descendant, moved about 1765 from Rhode Island to Warwick, Franklin County, Massachusetts and married Lydia Miller. Descendants and relatives lived in New England, New York and elsewhere." I don't have a clue how to obtain this book, if I was sure it was the right track I'd try to buy it, I believe it's available on microfiche. If it were a LITTLE less vague. I'm mostly going by instinct. This may not be YOUR Joseph, but there could be other Josephs connected to this family. The "3 bros" is what intrigued me, but MOST intriguing is the date of arrival. If the stuff on the Mizell page is accurate, "about 1650" would be very close. Somewhere today I saw a Holden, but again, with no way to track this stuff, I just print it all then go back over it. Also today, I saw a lot of Joshuas, Solomons (?)etc., scattered all over the place. I'll go back over these prints when I have time, and share with you if it looks interesting.
