The info I have is that William was married to Elizabeth Beaumont first then Mary Gray.

The children of Elizabeth and William were:
John b abt 1683
Hannah b4/12/1685
William Jr. b5/16/1687

The children of Mary and William were:
James b8/16/1705
Benjamin baptised 10/5/1707
Elizabeth b9/1/1710
Mary b9/30/1715
Gray b1/7/1717

It is possible that its father and son though because the info I have says that the marriage was 7/22/1703. The younger William would have been 17.

My info comes from the "William R. Barbee of Chatham Co., NC" complied by Patsy Lawson Roach, May 1978.
