My connection to the Barbee family is thru Robert Andrews who marr Sarah Barbee. I have the supplement to "A Study of the Barbee Families of Chatham, Orange and Wake Counties in NC" compiled by Kathryn Crossley Stone. My great aunt (now deceased) was in the Colonial Dames, #13582, and her tree shows Sarah as daughter to a Francis Barbee, who in turn was a son of Francis Barbee, a son of John Barbee and Ann Miller. The supplement does not show this line and I can't seem to find much on either Francis. I hope you can shed some light on where to find out if Francis really is my link to William Barbee. It has been approx 20 years ago I received this info and possibly someone has done more research that would be available to me. Can you please help me?
