Does anyone know this family? I would love to have contact with a living descendant. I am descended from Lee Judson Barbee's wife's sister and am compiling a book that I hope can include updated data on this Barbee branch. Included below is some new data from Akron, Ohio death certificate information. Please copy to my personal email if you have any information whatever. Thanks very, very much.

FIRST GENERATION
1. 'Lee' Judson BARBEE was born about 1869, and died in 1947 or before. He lived his adult life in Bluefield, Virginia (which was called Graham, Va before 1924) He was buried in Maple Hill Cemetery, West Graham (now Bluefield), VA. Lee Barbee was associated with the construction business, and also served as President of The Bank of Graham.
He was married to Frances 'Fannie' Patton MCCALL (daughter of Jesse Meek MCCALL and Mary Matilda GEORGE ). Frances 'Fannie' Patton MCCALL was born on Jan 17 1869 at "The Willows," Witten Valley, Tazewell Co., VA. She died on Sep 21 1957 in Akron, Ohio. She resided at Bluefield, VA for most of her life.. She was buried in Maple Hill Cemetery, West Graham (now Bluefield), VA. Their home was on Tazewell Avenue in Bluefield, VA. About 1947,she went to Akron, Ohio to live with her son Edward.
'Lee' Judson BARBEE and Frances 'Fannie' Patton MCCALL had the following children:

3 ii. 'Lee' Judson BARBEE Jr.He was born in the 1890's.(no further data at this writing).
4 iii. Bessie BARBEE. She died young. There is a stained glass window in her memory in the First Methodist Church
of Bluefield, VA.
5 iv. Other children? BARBEE.
SECOND GENERATION
2. Edward M. BARBEE was born on Oct 11 1891 in Graham, VA (now Bluefield VA). He died on Feb 12 1959 in Akron, Ohio. He was buried in Maple Hill Cemetery, West Graham (now Bluefield), VA. He went to Akron shortly after W.W. I, and spent the rest of his adult life there. He was associated with a rubber plant, possibly the B.F. Goodrich Co.
He was married to ? ?. He was divorced from ? ?. Edward M. BARBEE and ? ? had the following children:
6 i. Edward M. BARBEE Jr.. In 1957, he was living in Charleston, WV.
