Hello, its been quite a long time since I've been in touch. Anyway, I am curious to know if there is any solid documentation for identifying Thomas BARBEE's wife as Margaret WILLIAMS? The last that I knew, was that we still didn't really know what his wife's maiden name was and that WILLIAMS was just a tradition. Do you have any information on her family?

Just to let others know how I fit into all the BARBEE family -- I am descended from Sarah BARBEE, daughter of Thomas and Margaret
(WILLIAMS?) BARBEE, and wife of John O'BANNON. My line comes on down through their daughter Sarah O'BANNON who married Capt. James FOLEY (ca. 1737-1826). His son, Bayless FOLEY (ca. 1768-1825) settled in Gallatin Co., KY. Look forward to hearing from you...
