I am researching a soldier who enlisted in the Dallas County company of the 26th Arkansas Infantry Regiment during the Civil War. He is:

W. H. Barbee Co. F Pvt/Pvt
Enlisted 4 May 1863 at Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas. Listed as present through Feb
1864.

I have no genealogical connection to this man but am writing a book on his regiment. Any help in learning his dates/places of birth, death, and burial would be greatly appreciated.
