Having researched the Barbee family for several years, I have run across another person who descends from your line. I have strong suspicions that Robert is a son of Joseph & Leannah Barbee, but not sure. We have copy of Joseph's will (1814) and he only mentions one son -Jesse- by name, however states others.
Several of us are beginning to piece this family together.
