Hello!
My co-worker, Vernon L. Osborne, Jr. has just begun his family tree and has interviewed several of his living relatives.

All we know at this point is:

1. His maternal great grandfather, Louis Jonathon Barbee, was born Sept. 8, 1905 in Mooresville, Iredale Co., NC and married Ora CORL, b. April 5 1907 Concord NC.

2. His paternall great grandfather was Realus William Barbee, who married Joy HARTSELL. We believe, but have no proof, that they were from the same area of NC.

We would appreciate any information or assistance we can receive. He is unsure of how to proceed after this, although we have searched the Cabarrus Co., Rowan Co., and Iredale Co., NC records.

If you can provide any info or advice, I will be happy to forward it to Vernon.
