I'm looking for any info on my g-father John BARBEE, b. 1837,d.???. He married Emma Henrietta BAKER, from Kentucky, (18 jan 1842-16 nov 1911). He was a tug boat operator and lived with his wife and family in San Francisco. "Captain" was a nickname, from what I'm told. Children are: Emma Roberta (1873-abt 8 Apr 1957),Francis P.(1877-9 Jan 1912),Harry Bradford(???),Jesse W.(1872-9 Oct 1934),Laura J.(abt1883-???),Louella V.(1868-21 Dec 1957),Lucille John[my g-mother](23 Mar 1879-7 Mar 1934),Lurlien (???),Marie A.(abt Apr 1878-31 Oct 1881),Mary John(19 Nov 1880-23 Jan 1915),Robert(???),Sarah Elizabeth(7 Jun 1886-28 Apr 1957).Any info would be appreciated on John, his children, or ancestors.
