My Family: Thomas Barbee , (Born 1752) Conf. War in 1777. (Need Data on him) Andrew and his wife settled in Virginia in 1764. Joseph and his wife , Ann Withers were the Grandprents of: William Randolph Barbee. His son, Andrew Russell and his wife, Nancy Britton Barbee, were the parents of William Randolph Barbee. "The Virginia Sculptor". Born:January 17, 1818 @ Homestead near Luray, Va. Died: June 16, 1868 @ Barbee Home in Luray, Va. Burial @ Green Hill Cemertery (Flag at the grave). Married:November 25, 1847 to Mary Jane McKay. Children: Herbert- Born 1848 in Page County. Clifford, Nancy Britton and Katie Lazelia. Nancy Britton Barbee married my Grandfather, Albert Waterbury Lane of N.Y. They had a son, Albert Waterbury Lane, Jr. and a daughter, Gladys Barbee Lane Beauclerk, both born in Mount Vernon, N.Y. Our family is also descended from Thomas Barbee and Lane. Sarah E. was the wife of Andrew (WFT. Est. 1648=1671--WFT. Est. 1693-1759) Please contact me if this is of any help. Tks.
