Okla. by Ron McLaughlin of 1653 I believe that the Farther of Elsea b. 1797 is probably a James Barbee. Why would Elsea name two of his sons James? Sons: James Nelson ,and James Lewis.I also think that there is a possibilty that William Barbee that signed the OLD SETTLER ROLL is Elsea's Brother.His wife's name was KAYAWHE.
