I continue to search for information on
Sirena/Syrena BARBEE born April 23, 1814 in
Orange Co NC and d. Sept 7 1902 in Lawrence Co TN. She married Jobe GARNER ca 1831 in TN.
She is buried in Mimosa Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, TN.
Children of Sirena and Jobe :
Delana Elizabeth marr James Rackley
Nancy marr. Brown
WIlliam J.
Selena M. marr Charles Norwood
James Knox Polk marr. Ella Clegg
George Mifflin Dallas marr Cynthia Sutton

James and George both moved to Texas

Jobe died in 1846 and Sirena was listed as head of house in 1850 Giles CO Tn and 1860 also. In 1870 whe was listed in Lawrence Co Tn living with daughter Selena Norwood. In 1880 she was listed in Lawrence Co Tn with Son James. James must have moved to Texas sometime after this as he died in 1920 in Hunt Co Tx.
George M D GARNER is my direct line, but I am interested in all the lines.

Would love any info on Sirena BARBEE.
