Sarah Malissa Tillman b.1846 Newton Co., MO - m. Thomas J. Barbee is my g-g-grandmother's sister. Here's the info I have.
Thomas J. Tillman b. 1816 (TN or VA) married Edna Mae Jones b. 1825 TN about 1842 in TN. Their Children were:
1. Amanda Tillman b. 1844 TN m. 1)? Riley in MO (my line) 2) William Henderson Huckaby b. 1845 Benton Co., AR.
2. Sarah Malissa "Toad" Tillman b. 1846 Newton Co., MO m. Thomas J. Barbee 3 Feb 1867 Newton Co., MO
3. Samantha Tillman b. 1847 MO
4. Nicey Tillman b. 1850
Thomas J. Tillman died shortly after the 1850 census and his widow (Edna M. Jones) m. William A. McCormick. The Huckaby's and McCormick's moved to Cooke Co., TX and the Barbee's moved to Grayson Co., TX. All are listed on the 1880 Census in TX.
