I know of a connection to the Wooley family & the Barbees. My greatgrandmother was Dora Susan Pettyjohn. She married Elijah L Barbee. They are from around Boone County, AR and later settled in Tillman County, OK. Dora's parents were Abram & Martha Susan (Wooley) Pettyjohn and they are listed in the 1860 St. Francis, AR census under the household of Joel L & Serena Wooley as being married within that year. Also, C.W. Wooley married Arkansas Barbee who is the sister of my greatgrandfather, Elijah L Barbee. It is listed in the Boone County, AR marriage index, but Arkansas Barbee is mistakenly listed as "Barber". I believe C.W. Wooley is one and the same as Columbus W. Wooley listed in the 1870 Boone County, Jefferson Township, AR census under the household of J L & Serena Wooley.
