I have some information on Jesse Mercer Barbre born Jan 4, 1840. I also have a photo of him. He had a total of 6 children: sons Jesse M(born Nov 11, 1881 in Tyler TX) & Thomas Julian(he had a son he named Thomas Julian also), daughters: Cleo Plen & Emma Pearl (Whiddon)(Emma Pearl became a mid-wife); these four were born to Virginia Lowrie or Lowry who died around 1888. Son Lloyd & daughter Velma were born to Saphronia White.

married Eva Pearl Lane b. 2-29-1892(leap year) died 9-20-1989
these are my great grandparents, they were originally from Sayre, OK
they both died in Fresno, CA. I have much information on them. I have some interesting family stories about Jesse Mercer Barbre b.1840. My grandmother sent me a letter filled with as much family history as she could remember, and a few quirky stories about her grandfather, who was JMB b. 1840.
I also have some information on the spouses and children of Lloyd Barbre and Velma Barbre.
