Cuke was a surname in Scotland and Nothern England. My research has shown that all these names that you mentioned and Cuke are all related. The Cuke name in Scotland became Cook etc. We pronounce the name as Q ke. The first Cuke in Barbados was a surveyor in 1735. We Barbadian Cukes are descended from W. T. Cuke and his second wife. The Cukes today in Wales are descended from his first wife. Japeth Cuke went to England ,married and settled in Wales where his decendents are living today. I have met with them. I live in England now or I would have been able to help you with your will.
