Correction to yesterday's message.
I think it may have been Alistair Cameron (not Allan) who married Laura Susanna Roope, and Sunbury Plantation was in the family from 1896 to 1981.
Also still looking for information about Gerard Roope,sugar planter at Bayfield Barbados.
