Looking for info on a possible ship's Captain by the name of Thomas Dowden. Rumor has it that he may have been one of the captains of the convict ships from England to Barbados. I have an approximate date of birth as "abt. 1650". It is beleived that he came to America(Maryland) in the late 1600's. Any clues or possible resources would be greatly appreciated!
