Tracing the Bohannons said to be of Barbados

Hi,
Needing some help here. I have information that the Bohannon family I found in Virginia in the 1700's are said to be from Barbados beginning with one Duncan Bohannon born 1637, some say Barbados, some say Gloucester, VA; but he was married in St. Michaels 5 July 1658 and his son John is born 1658/59 St. Michaels Parish, Barbados. Later, they are in Middlesex, VA and migrate on to TN, and somewhere in VA they meet up with our Norris family. If our Norris family did not come out of Barbados too.

That is my next question: anyone researching Norris from Barbados? Looking for a John Norris and wife Elizabeth, born around 1700/1710, in VA by 1742, Amelia County. Had sons John, Thomas, Solomon, and William that I know of. My connection to the Bohannons starts with Abner Norris of 1758 Lunenburg, VA, whose daughter Sarah is thought to be the Sarah to have married Elijah Bohannon.

You may contact me directly at hodnett2@msn.com and thank you for any information you can supply.
