I am looking for information about a Jospeh S. Baptista born in the Azores (I'm not sure which island) abt 1845. He married Mary Jacinto, also of the Azores. They both died in the San Jose Califronia area. They had 6 daughters:
Isabelle 1883-1925
Louise 1886-1979
Mary
Virginia
Caroline
Emily
I have a picture of all 6 of the girls together taken about 1900ish. I am descended for Louise.
I have no information on where in the Azores they came from. What little info I have I got from Louise's daughter Mary who is still alive though her memory is fading. Any help would be GREAT!
