James F. Cates was my great-grandfather. I have heard from various sources that he was a Baptist preacher & who was published in books & had articles written about him. This was in McKintosh County Oklahoma he also preached in Arkansas before coming to Oklahoma. However, I can find no information on him anywhere. If anyone knows of who he is or just has an idea on where to look, I would appreciate so much any information at all.
