Hi everyone.
Looking for the wife of John Eckerson. It has been said that she was Brechie Banta and her parents were Thomas Banta and Elizabeth Haring. They were married 4 September 1819 Upper Saddle River, NJ. Brechie was b. 1 November 1801 Paramus, NJ
and d. 2 November 1875 Nanuet, Rockland, NY. There was no source or documentation to go to.
This is what I have: John Eckerson bp. 17 February 1793 b. 21 November 1792 Paramus, NJ d. 25 December 1828.
Buried Upper Saddle River, NJ. Only known child Sara b. Middleburgh, Schoharie, NY m. Henry Aker b. Fulton, Schoharie?, NY. Their known children, David and Alexander Aker. John is my 3rdgreat grandfather. Was Brechie Banta a second wife of John Eckerson? The Haring and Banta families pop up on our family tree three generations later. I'm wondering if something is amiss
on the family tree!!!
Does anyone have a Brechie or Thomas Banta???!!!!
