Ann: We have a Banta reunion every summer. It's held in Golden City, Barton Co., MO the first Sunday in August.
The reunion is the family of James Henry Banta, the son of William Henry Banta, who was the son of Rev. Henry D. Banta. James Henry and his siblings were born in Switzerland Co., IN.
The lineage is: Epke, Hendrick, Hendrick, Hendrick, Daniel (m. Anna Seever in KY). I've forgotten which of Epke's sons you descend from.
