Desiree' my great grand father, Christopher Columbus Kokendoffer, married Katherine Banta about 1877 in Nicholas Co. KY. Her dads name was Andrew Jackson Banta and his dad was Henry Banta. Was wondering if you could connect with this line of Bantas. There is a place on Hinkston creek in Nicholas Co that is called the Banta Bend. I would like a picture of the family crest you mentioned. Thank you for any help you may give. My Mom and Dad did see an original book while visiting KY years ago.
