According to T M Banta book:
Thomas H. Banta b. 14 Apr 1833, md Louisa Embury, 28 Oct 1858. She was b. 3 Oct 1835, VA. They were residing in Calhoun, MO when the book was published.

Thomas H. was the son of Abraham and Elizabeth (Thorp) Banta. Abraham wa b. Madison Co, KY (no date). Elizabeth Thorp was b. 12 Oct 1809. They md 29 Dec 1825. Abraham was a farmer in KY, removed to Henry Co, MO abt 1834 and d. 15 Mar 1882. In 1887 his widow is living Canyon City, Co.
