Malinda was not born in Whitley Co.she was born in Cass Co. IN. 7 Jan 1831--I think the book is wrong there--I have not been able to find a marr record for John Banta & Barbara Tanner
anywhere--they were not md in Whitley Co. or Cass Co. or any of the other Co. that John was ,in IN or OH.
