Hi to another Banta cousin from Ks. According to the Banta book, p. 291, Thomas W. Banta b. Jun 10, 1860 m. Florence Baxter. He was a farmer in New Richmond, In. Only one child Theron S. mentioned. (would like to have your line on down)
Thomas s/o John Demaree Banta who married Mary Jane Robert Sep. 9 1855. She was born Oct. 9 1820. Lived Switzerland Co., In. & then moved to New Richmond. ch: Millard Fillmore, Charles D., Thomas W., Geo. B. McClellan.
John Demaree s/o Henry C. Banta & Nancy Demaree. Lived south of Mt. Sterling, Ind. then went to Ky. Had 13 children.
Henry C. - s/o Cornelius & Magdalena Shuck.
Cornelius s/o "old" Henry & second wife, Antie Demarest. Had 13 children by her-21 total.
