I trying to see who married Maria Eckerson, d/o Maria Demarest & Thomas Eckerson. In the 1938 edition of the Demarest family book it states that she married (2) Wiert Banta. However, in the 1964 edition it is Samuel. Could it be that Weirt and Samuel are the same person? Does the Banta book any notation on this marriage?
