I am a descendant of this Banta family. Jacob the father and his sons Jacob, Cornelius, ect. that you have listed also had a brother William H. Banta my gggfather. I have more information on this family when they lived in Tazewell and Woodford Co. Ind. and descendant s of William H. after the move to Wayne Co. Iowa. I have the Banta books by Elsa Banta and T.M. Banta with the history of the Banta families. I have a scanned sketch of Jacob the father from a biographical of Woodford Co. also.
