Thanks much for your reply to my post. Sorry I haven't answered sooner - computer has been down. My Browns are Amos Andrews Brown - wife Ruth Nelson and their offspring: Asa, Amos, Jr. Joseph, Nathan, Louvinia (married 1. William F. Smith 2. James E. Robison) Sarah (maried 1. --Lyon 2. Oliver Gridley}. All made the trek from Switzerland Co, Ind. to Woodford Co, ILL and then to Wayne Co. IA. Except Louvinia and James Robison who settled in Appanoose Co, IA.

Would love to know the connections to the Banta family, since they all made the trek together.
