Looking for info on Margaret (Maggie) Banta, dau of William Banta and Lucinda Hairston, who married William (W.H.) Wolfe 10 Apr 1877 maybe in Fayette CO. I find them in the 1880 census in Brown CO TX Byrds Store. In 1910 they are in Mason Co TX:
William age 53
Maggie age 51 (9 children--9 living)
Ross son age 20
Ida dau age 15
Earnest son age 13
Carl son age 11
Who are her other 5 children and where was this family in 1900 and 1920?
In Feb 1946 in Oklahoma City OK, she is listed as a surviving sister of Susan Banta Morris Leigh. This info is from the Demuth Funeral home which has records of the old Garrison Funeral Home. John D. (David) Banta b 1874, brother to these 2 women is also listed as a survivor.
Maggie would have been 87 years old in 1946. John David Banta would have been 72.
Would appreciate any info.
